President Debbie Simmons gave her report from the council of Ravens Roosts Meeting.
New guidelines for the Polar Bear Plunge
-Application must be filed in advance to obtain parking spot for the bus
-State Police are cracking down on violators
-No more glass bottles – plastic and cans only
-Extinguish cigarette butts, no open fires – propane grills & heaters still allowed
-Debbie Simmons will provide additional information pertaining to restrictions closer to the
date of the event. Pledge sheets and bus information will be available at our Holiday
party.
Holiday Party
To be held at Johnson’s, 19 Dec from 8 – 12

Wayne Stankiewicz
is heading up the committee. Please contact him if you would like to
assist in the planning.
-Cost - $20 for members
-You may bring a significant other to the party at a cost of $30.
-We have limited space so bringing more than one guest may not be possible.
-We must have a head count by 12 Dec
-Wayne will send out an e-mail with additional information
Fund Raiser
We will be selling items/food from Home Interiors Celebrating Home flyer. 50% of the sales will go to our Roost. We need all orders by 12 December.
Christmas Donations
Bill Stankiewicz will contact Pastor John to determine how many needy children we will purchase gifts for.

January – Lottery Calendars
It has been proposed that we start a lottery calendar.
The calendar could be for 3 months or for as much as a year. Roost member Tracie
Siscosky has a point of contact that creates the calendars. It is most likely to late for a
yearly calendar.
Roost 68 T- Shirts
Debbie Simmons will know by Friday the price and type of shirts available. More
information to follow.
Thanksgiving Food Baskets
Food baskets will be delivered on Sat 21 Nov.
If you have any additional food items please drop them off at Johnson’s.
At the present time we have 5 families in need of assistance.
If you would like to assist with delivering these baskets please meet Bill at Johnson’s at
12:00 on Sat 21 Nov. Next year we will contact local churches and fire departments for the
names of families in need.
